I am adopted. Woohoo!!

Adopter Update:
Oh how we looooove our Bella! She’s the absolute sweetest girl, and I don’t even have words to describe how precious she is to us!
It didn’t take her long to settle in, and we can’t imagine life without her—or even remember how we got by before she entered our hearts!
Sometimes I wish she could tell me her life story, but I know all that truly matters is her current happy ever after.

She loves her walks. We have to call them “w” as in, “Did you take B for a W yet?”, and she’s starting to catch onto that! If she catches the slightest clink of her leash or sees me put on my shoes, she. goes. nuts, becomes a total puppy, and “wooo woooo”s at me! It’s hilarious. This is one smart girl. She knows a few basics like sit, lie down, and we both stop and look both ways before crossing a street together. She gets lots of treats. Lots…!!!

She had a comprehensive check-up and we learned Bella has hip dysplasia and some lower spine problems, so we put her on a regiment of nerve meds for pain and some joint support. We’ll take care of all these issues, and make sure she’s within her healthy weight range.
Her vet and the entire staff loooooooooves her!!! She’s a sweetie everywhere she goes!

I’ve shared our story with many people, so I’m pretty sure BFP’s website is getting some new traffic! Thank you for bringing us together. I would love to stay in touch with you all!

Background Story:
Meet Bella! Bella was recently rescued from Mexico and brought to Texas to find her forever home. She was in a unique situation called pound seizure. This is when animal shelters (pounds) give or sell dogs do testing facilities. Luckily, we were able to get Bella out in good timing. Bella is very selective with what other dogs she associates with so some animals might not be a good fit around her. Bella is generally nice but it might take someone with patience and love to get her to adapt to her new life. Bella is available to be fostered and adopted.
