Beagles used in research are often subjected to painful and cruel experiments, and come to Beagle Freedom Project headquarters traumatized, injured, sick, and scared of the world around them. These dogs have never smelled fresh air, walked on grass, or felt the warmth of the summer sun on their skin.

When survivors arrive at Beagle Freedom Project, they are assessed by a veterinarian and receive immediate medical treatment as needed for injuries and/or ailments. Once they are healthy enough, they are spayed or neutered, then matched with a foster family who help them develop a sense of security and confidence until they are ready to be adopted.
Beagle Freedom Project provides these dogs with high quality food, supplies, their first ever beds and toys, and more. Your donation to Sponsor A Beagle will make it possible for Beagle Freedom Project to provide the highest quality care and all the items a sponsored beagle needs to thrive.
For a one-time donation of $500, you will play an integral role in getting a beagle to safety and providing all the care they need as they adapt to life as a beloved companion.
