Grace

Hi friends happy September. My name is Grace and I live at Freedom Fields. I want to tell you all about my days and how I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project.

When I was younger, I lived in an animal shelter in Mexico and every day I waited for a family to come and chose me. One day someone came for me, and I was so happy. I thought I was going to my new home, I thought things could not get worse than living in a shelter, but they did. The people took me to a laboratory, and they did experiments that hurt me – they called me a pound seizure.

Luckily for me someone told BFP and they came to Mexico and saved me, and now I live at Freedom Fields.

I love living at Freedom Fields. The people that take care of me are so kind and gentle. Because I like to play a little rough, I cannot play with other dogs, and I really don’t like cats, I just want to chase them! However, at Freedom Fields I still get to do lots of fun things – the staff take me on lovely long walks with lots of sniffs, I love sniffing and finding new exciting scents.

I also love visiting our dog park, we have lots of fun obstacles for me to climb and play on just like when you go to the park! I also get to run, jump around, and get my wiggles out.

But the BEST days are when I get to go on special trips in the car, I always take a toy with me because my toys help me to feel safe. The best field trips are the ones to get pup cups– I LOVE pup cups!

Trips are fun, but nothing makes me feel safe and loved more than being at Freedom Fields with all my toys, treats, my comfortable bed and the people who love and care for me. They don’t even get mad when I play too hard with my toys and break them, they just smile at me and say, “Oh Grace.”
