Artemis was rescued from the dog meat trade in China where she was abused and about to be slaughtered for food. Beagle Freedom Project stepped in and intervened, bringing Artemis to Canada where she is now being fostered by a wonderful family and given all the proper medical care and love that she needs. She is beginning to show more and more trust and become more comfortable being in a safe place. She is great with other dogs and loves the attention of humans. She loves sleeping on comfy blankets, going on walks, and being around people!
