Monthly Sniffs – Queenie

Hi everyone, my name is Queenie, and I cannot wait to tell you all about my life now that I am free from testing and safe at Freedom Fields.

For most of my life I was kept in a small stall, and I was used for animal testing. I was never allowed to run, play with friends, or enjoy tasty treats. I woke up every day sad and scared because the people that were supposed to love and care for me did things to me that were not nice.

Then, one day everything changed. That was the day that Beagle Freedom Project saved me and gave me the best gift of all – FREEDOM!

Now I get to spend my days doing all the things I have always dreamed of – thanks to BFP. I love to eat my favorite snacks – as you can see, I eat a lot of hay, but I also love other snacks too, apples, carrots, and my favorite snack peppermints – but only for a special treat.

December has been a fun month. The weather in Oklahoma is much cooler, and I get to spend my days outside running and playing with all my new friends. We have so much fun and so much room to run around – we all love it here! I like to show everyone just how happy I am now that I am free from animal testing.

Just when I was thinking that things could not get any better, the team told me that we had to start getting ready for Christmas. What is Christmas? I have never had Christmas before. I got my very own Santa hat and a sock with my name on it! They said the sock was a stocking and that it would hang it in my stall on December 24th and when I woke up, it would be filled with all my favorite treats. My best friend Marty could not believe it – he got one too, so did everyone at Freedom Fields.

Merry Christmas! I hope you all got your stockings filled too, maybe with peppermints!
