For thirteen long months, six beagles were forced to live in small wooden boxes; suspended two feet in the air.
The day of their rescue was the first time they had touched the ground in over a year.
These survivors, six precious beagle girls — all gentle, affectionate, and endlessly loving, despite the horrific neglect they’ve endured — once knew a life of total exploitation. They were born, raised, and used for hunting; living as tools, not companions.
When their previous ‘owner’ passed away, the girls’ small world shrank even further… and they were thrown into a gut-wrenching case of cruelty.
They were confined, abandoned, and almost entirely forgotten. Condemned to waste away in small, wooden boxes
But Beagle Freedom Project leaves no beagle behind. When a good samaritan contacted BFP seeking help for all six beagles, we knew we had to take action. Now, these cruelty survivors are recovering at BFP’s sanctuary, Freedom Fields — but we need your help to ensure they heal from medical challenges such as painful, swollen masses, severe skin infections, advanced heartworm disease, and teeth decayed to the roots.
These pups have been through more than any dog should ever endure. Now, they’re free from confinement, but we need to guarantee they are free from pain so they can truly thrive.
Your compassion can change their lives — starting today.
Thank you for making BFP’s lifesaving work possible.
