Two years ago, Beagle Freedom Project made history. In an unprecedented victory for animal rights, our team successfully shut down one of the United States’ largest and most heavily cited animal testing facilities—a site once responsible for one-third of the nation’s flea-and-tick testing.
Today, a place long defined by the suffering of thousands of dogs and cats stands permanently shuttered, and in its place rises an idyllic refuge where survivors of animal testing and other forms of cruelty can experience safety, love, and freedom for the very first time.
In February 0f 2026, that refuge — Beagle Freedom Project’s sanctuary, outreach and education center, Freedom Fields, turns two!
Watch our Freedom Fields Journey so far!
What began with a groundbreaking laboratory shutdown and two hundred and fifty lives liberated has grown into an unstoppable, life-saving force — a safe haven where hundreds of new survivors, rescued from the most heartbreaking circumstances, have now found the second chance at a beautiful life they would have otherwise never known. At Freedom Fields, compassionate individuals can come face to face with survivors of cruelty and discover that their own hearts are forever changed by the powerful moment of witnessing a survivor’s joy in freedom.
As we celebrate two years of Freedom Fields and look forward to decades to come, we carry forward a promise; we will never stop fighting to end animal cruelty.
And, together, we can create a world where no animal knows suffering.
