Mini + Maria are blind, animal testing survivors. For years, these senior, blind beagles experienced pain, isolation, cruelty and neglect. When we saw the deplorable conditions they were living in, we stepped in to secure their release. They had never known the comfort of a bed, the love of another, or feeling the sunshine on their face. read more
Tiny
Tiny's name speaks for itself! Tiny is an 8 week old chihuahua puppy that Beagle Freedom Project rescued from a high kill shelter. She is absolutely adorable and very sassy! Tiny has seen our vet and has been given a clean bill of health. She is not housebroken yet and is not able to be walked on a leash because she is still too young. read more
Indy (nka Billy)
Indy is one of our hound animal testing survivors. Indy is approximately 4-5 years old and a handsome and regal coonhound mix (as you can see in his photos). He is still a nervous boy and suffers from anxiety. Indy’s foster mom makes sure to make him as comfortable as possible and comforts him with lots of love he deserves and treats. His favorite thing to do is curl up in a blanket on the edge of a comfy couch. read more

Meet lovely lady Hope! Hope is calm and gentle and likes to curl up against you in bed. She loves watching the birds and squirrels and is known to chase a bug or two. Curious and energetic, she can make anything into a toy – her favorite is a scalp massager which she sometimes drags around.

Loretta Lynn
Loretta Lynn has had a tough life. It seems she was used for breeding, and when the breeder was done with her, she was dumped in the woods. As if that isn’t scary enough for a dog, Loretta Lynn suffered even more because she is blind. She wandered around for possibly weeks before being rescued. She ended up at an animal shelter, and at that point Beagle Freedom Project learned of her plight and stepped in to save her. read more
Shadow and Sunny
Bonded bunnies Shadow and Sunny were rescued from a high-kill Los Angeles shelter. These two lovely rabbits have been together all of their lives. They love snuggling with each other and can usually be found lying side by side in their bed. read more
