Hi, my name is Fruit Loop!

My life hasn't been easy, but you wouldn't know it by my goofy personality. I spent my life in a cage until now. The moment they opened that cage door, and I saw all that grass, and all those two- and four-legged friends, I thought I must have found heaven. I sprinted. I sniffed--there were so many new smells! I played for the first time. I met so many nice people, and I made them all laugh! I was held, and loved. I'm still getting used to this being a dog thing, but I'm loving every moment!

Meet Tiger.

Tiger was just rescued from an animal testing laboratory, where he knew nothing but pain and fear. He's about 4 years old. He's still a little shy, but we're working on gaining his trust and gently pulling him out of his shell. Right now he feels safest in the car, where he'll curl into a ball and fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the road. When he trusts you, he'll put his head on your knee and look up at you with the widest eyes, as if he can't believe he's finally free of pain, and no one will want to hurt him ever again.

Tiger would be happiest with another gentle dog in the home to help him become his best dog self. He has a lot of missed years to make up on, and a lot of love to give, and with the right home, he'll blossom in no time. read more

This is the life. I have a fluffy bed, a full food bowl, a big backyard to run in, and to top it all off, there always seems to be a hand around for a good belly rub! What more could a guy like me ask for?

It wasn't always like this. I grew up in a laboratory testing facility. The hands back then weren't for belly rubs, and I was so scared and so alone. I never want to feel that way again. Now, I'm looking for a home to call my very own, where I can hang out with my people, and maybe play and snuggle with a few furry friends.

You see, ever since I found out that humans are capable of love, I just can't get enough! Most of my life was spent in a cage, and I have a lot of catching up to do. I'm learning how to play, and how to master stairs (I've been very brave!), and I love going for walks. If you have another dog I can play with, and a big backyard, I'll be your best friend for life!

I was kept in an animal testing facility--but I never belonged there. The kind people that freed me tell me I'll never go back there again, and that they'll find me a home where I will always be loved.

Very pleased to meet you. I know it's hard to tell from my sweet face, but I had a difficult start to life. There's a lot I'm still trying to forget, but I remember the fear. The helplessness. Wanting the pain to end. I spent my life in an animal testing laboratory, but the people who saved me promised me a better life.

Since I was rescued, I've met and snuggled with all sorts of people, of all ages--a few that are barely older than I am! I've met quite a few dogs, too. Though I'm still learning to trust, my personality is beginning to bloom, and I just have so much love to give.

Hi! My name's Muffin, and it's wild to think anyone ever managed to catch me long enough to put me in a cage. It's hard to imagine anyone wanting to do that to me and my friends at all, let alone test on us while we were in there. But some nice people rescued me from the animal testing facility, and now I'm making up for lost times.

I love running around, chasing my friends, and being chased, and just hanging out in the backyard. I spent so long being afraid of humans and the pain they caused me, that I'm still learning how to trust them, but my amazing foster mom says I'm making great strides each day. I like to cuddle up on the bed with my foster brother, and I gotta say it's pretty nice to feel loved. I feel safe and loved for the first time in four whole years. If you want to be my friend, too, I think that'd be pretty great! read more

It's pretty incredible to think how quickly one's life can change. One day, I was in a small cage in an animal testing facility, the hard metal cutting into my paws, terrified that every person who passed by would want to hurt me--and the next, I had a warm bed, a full belly, and a loving family looking after me.

I'm still getting used to this life, but so far it's surpassed my wildest dreams. Have you heard about TVs? I love to sit and watch the funny shapes dance! And backyards? There's this thing called grass, and space that I can run around in! And friends, four-legged, and two-legged, and more! It's all pretty wonderful.

Now, I'd love a home to call my own. I'd love a furry brother or sister. And a big backyard where we can run and play. Most importantly, I'd love to know that I'll be safe and taken care of for the rest of my days. In turn, I can promise to love you with the whole of my heart.

Meet Honeycomb!

This sweet girl was just rescued with a number of pals from an animal testing facility, where she spent her life in a small cage, never knowing the love and kindness that humans are capable of.

Since she was saved, Honeycomb has slowly been coming out of her shell. She's learning to live her life as a carefree dog, and would love a home where she has another dog pal to show her the ropes. Honeycomb would do best with a family that has the patience and compassion to understand her dark past, while providing her with plenty of love (and maybe a few treats!) to help her blossom into the carefree and happy pup she was always meant to be.

You see, I was just recently saved from an animal testing facility. Now, those horrible things that happened to me, they don’t define me. But I am making up for lost time. I’m super curious—how could I not be? There are so many new smells, and wide open spaces to explore!

As you can see from my expression, I'm working really hard on my Blue Steel. My friends at BFP say I could be a model. I have the runway walk down, the pose, and they're always taking pictures of me! Now all I need is the confidence to truly help me shine.

I'd really like a best bud of the furry persuasion, to help me blossom into my best Dog Self. I'm still overcoming the challenges of living my life in an animal testing facility, but with a little patience, and a lot of love, I'll blossom in no time! read more
