Hi! How are you? My name’s Missy!

It’s crazy to think the first 7 years of my life have already passed me by. I couldn’t do anything about it though… my life was at the hands of the laboratory testing facility. I can’t even put into words everything I’ve been through and seen, no one would believe it—but I promise you it happened. My life has been a roller coaster ride to say the least: 7 years of being locked away to being as free as a bird!

It’s pretty amazing, isn’t it? I survived!

Freedom has taught me a lot. Like if I look cute (which isn’t hard for me to do), I pretty much get anything I want! I can lay on the couch, the big bed, get new toys, and, if I’m really lucky, I can even get some yummy treats! I still have a lot to learn, but it won’t take me long!

I can’t wait to meet you! I’ve got a lot of interesting stories to tell you—some you probably won’t believe. Whether that be living in a cage for 7 years or never experiencing a gentle, kind human touch. Crazy, right?! My life has definitely been rough, but I promise it’s a whole lot better now! I was rescued from a laboratory testing facility and have been living the dream ever since. I have the freedom to run and play whenever I want, I can sleep wherever I please, and best of all, I’m safe, free, and loved! It’s the greatest thing since sliced bread! I’ve called the same metal cage “home” for 8 years now. I’ve heard they’re really nice, but I never had the privilege of using one. Why didn’t I have something as simple as a bed to sleep in you might ask? Well, me and some friends were kept inside this building called a laboratory testing facility. We were kept in cages until we were “needed” and then just thrown back when they were done with us. It was awful. I lived in fear every day. But then, in the blink of an eye, my life was changed forever! I was taken from my cage for the last time and my new life began.

Where am I now? Oh, I’m living the dream! You can find me laying by the pool catching a tan or sleeping on the couch with my fur-brother. It doesn’t get much better than this! My fur-brother has taught me so much already and I can’t wait to learn more! I’ve conquered so much in such a short time, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me!

No cages, big backyards, more toys than I could ever imagine, and a comfortable place to sleep every night—whether it’s my own bed, the big couch, or even the human bed! I’ve tried all three places, and I must say, I like the human bed wayyyy better because that means I get to cuddle! 7 years of my life have already past, and I want to enjoy this new life I have ahead of me with someone special holding my leash. At only 9 years old, I’ve seen some mind boggling things...things no one would ever think about. I’ve been frozen in fear, stricken with anxiety, and confused as to why they think doing this to me and my friends was good idea.

Now that I’m free, I can proudly say “I’m a laboratory testing survivor!” I’ve made some huge strides since being rescued, but I still have a long way to go. My name’s Taylor!

A decade. Ten years. That’s how long I was locked inside a laboratory testing facility. I’m not going to lie, there were some days I had lost all hope… it was that hard. But luckily, I had more hopeful days than not! I was waiting for that cage door to open for the last time, and believe it or not, it did!

I may be up there in age, but boy am I ready for this new life! I’m 10 years young! I’ve got so much to still do, so much to learn, and so many new adventures to go on! I’ve already found some new friends I like to play with and who help show me the ropes. They’ve even told me they love me! Who knew?! I didn’t know I was capable of being loved… but it sure does feel good! I’m just a 10-year-old puppy hoping to find her forever home and for someone to help me learn all things dog. Jessie’s the name!

At only 4 years old, I’ve had a pretty tough road. Instead of “living the dog’s life,” I was constantly fighting for mine… I was locked in a cage with little to no human contact and was constantly living in fear. That’s not a fun way to live—It’s actually no way to live. I never had control of my life or the freedom to do what dogs do. Until today!

It feels like I’m a completely different dog! I can run and play and act as crazy as I want to. I get fed these really yummy things people call treats when I do something good and I most importantly, I finally feel like a dog should—loved, cared for, and treated like family! I waited 4 long years for this, but now I have a full, new life ahead me to look forward to! read more

There were a lot of scary days and long nights, but one day the unthinkable happened. These nice people took me out of my cage and carried me to safety! Hi, Hello! I’m Presley!

My life has been pretty tough… for as long as I can remember I called a cold, metal cage my home. Grass, toys, fuzzy beds, friends, love… what are those? These are taken for granted by other dogs, but to me, these are luxuries! I spent 6 years dreaming of the day I would get to experience those things first hand, and today, I can proudly say that I have! I was taken from my cage for the last time, and boy I’ve never looked back!

You can catch me “hunting” in the back yard—finally being able to follow my sniffer—running around like a crazy man, always having a toy in my mouth, and best of all, cuddling up on the couch with my person after a long day of new adventures!

Hi, my name’s Dax!

I don’t look like it, but I’m already 10 years old. I know, I know, I’m just as handsome as ever! But believe it or not, I spent my entire 10 years of life in a laboratory testing facility getting some unimaginable things done to me. It was very hard, but I took one day at a time and never lost hope! Look at me now… 10 years old and free!!!

I still have a lot of living to do and I must say… I think I’m adjusting pretty well to freedom. I found out I LOVE to play with other dogs! Getting the zoomies, sharing toys, and even cuddling up on the bed—it can’t get better than that! I’ve even learned that people are pretty cool! They give me all the belly rubs I could want, yummy food, and even share their bed with me. Free life is the best life!

9 years. 9 years I looked through the same bars, living on that cold, metal cage floor. I didn’t know anything but cold touches and always feeling sick. I never knew love… I mean I always dreamt of what it would feel like to be a part of a family, but I never experienced it first-hand.

I was just starting to lose hope and then one day, everything changed within a matter of days! I went from living in a cage to running around a sunny backyard with people who were excited to see me. I was a little nervous at first, but it didn’t take me long to realize that there was good in the world! I can’t wait to see what all this new life has in store for me and I’m even more excited to experience it with a family to call my own!
