This sweet, senior 12-year-old boy has experienced a lot in his lifetime. He spent the first 7 years of his life locked up in a laboratory cage. No interactions, no sunlight, no playing, no nothing, just a cold metal floor. But despite everything he has been through, and never knowing a gentle touch, Buddy has come to learn what it is like to trust again and to be someone’s best “buddy!” Not only does he love being around people, he loves other dogs as well—it gives him comfort knowing someone is always with him and ready for playtime!

I’m definitely not your average dog, but I am pretty special! Instead of being able to run, play, and cuddle like any puppy wants to do, I spent the first 4 years of my life in a dark cage in a laboratory. I’ve seen some unimaginable things, but I’m trying to put all of that behind me and keeping my eyes on the prize… a forever home! Some of my favorite things to do are playing with other dogs, going on adventures, and of course, cuddling! Ever since I was rescued, all I’ve ever wanted was someone to love and for someone to love me just as much.

Hi, it’s me Waylon.
A bit about me! I’m a laboratory testing survivor and I’ve been free for a couple of years now. I’ve adjusted pretty well for the most part but sometimes I still get scared and upset. I’m really good at taking cues from humans and I’m hoping to find a person who has the time to really take care of me and keep on top of telling me what is right and what is wrong behavior because sometimes I get a little mixed up.
I really like other dogs even though sometimes I get a little mad at them when I get scared. The lab life still haunts me a bit but I know that when I get into the right family full of love and patience, I’ll do just fine! I like to be sweet and like to be nuzzled and cared for. read more
Sawyer
Meet sweet Sawyer!
Sawyer is very loving and loves to play tug war and fetch. He plays great with dogs his own size but is still a bit intimidated by larger dogs. When this sweet guy gets scared, he simply growls and really enjoys having his rubbed until he feels safe again.
Little Sawyer is still working on his house training and he certainly likes to chew.

At only 4 years old, Rose has experienced things no one should have to go through. Her, and Nelly, were locked in a garage for several months.
